Roman Sebrle

Decathlon World record holder Roman Sebrle has had some medical checks and his body has responded well, and so he has declared himself fit and has announced today that he will compete this weekend (3 / 4 June) at the IAAF Combined Events Challenge meeting in Arles, France.

It is first time in Sebrle‘s career that he will compete at this competition. The organisers have invited him before, but he always had other commitments. However, this year after his DNF in Götzis last weekend he was searching for another Decathlon start.

"The decision was not easy, but the doctors said yes, you can go," confirmed Sebrle. "Of course my aim is to win and achieve a good result."
