France, Bompas - David Guest won the junior men's heptathlon with a new British U20 record of 5793 points - this is 300 point improvement on Daniel Gardiner's 5482 record.

David Guest also took the notable scalp of the supremely talented Kevin Mayer (FRA), the reigning world youth champion - frenchman was second with 5668 points.
