Roland Schwarzl (Austria) improved his national heptathlon record at national Combined Events Championships with 6065 points. In high jump, hurdles and at pole vault he had three personal bests. All his results: 7,30 - 7.52 - 14.60 - 2.02 - 8,14 - 5.30 - 2.45,96. Schwarzl had set the previous mark in 2005 in Madrid, where he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships, and improved it by exactly one point.

Second Dominik Distelberger improved hugely to 5854 points and moved up to second place at the Austrian all-time list.
