Ashton Eaton dominated the 2016 World Indoor Championships heptathlon in Portland, winning the title with a 6470 points, well clear of Olexiy Kasyanov (6182) and Mathias Brugger (6126).
Kevin Mayer won the 2018 World Indoor Championships heptathlon in Birmingham with 6348 points, edging Damian Warner by just five points (6343) while Estonia’s Maicel Uibo claimed an impressive bronze with 6265 points.
