The 2025 Decastar meeting in Talence once again attracted a strong international decathlon field, with athletes using the prestigious competition to test their form against world-class opposition. Ayden Owens of Puerto Rico emerged victorious with 8478 points, while Estonia enjoyed an excellent competition as Johannes Erm finished second with 8236 points and Risto Lillemets and Rasmus Roosleht also secured places in the top seven.
