The 2024 Decastar meeting in Talence delivered one of the strongest decathlon competitions of the season, highlighted by an impressive victory from Estonia’s Johannes Erm. Erm scored 8589 points to defeat Norway’s Sander Aae Skotheim (8517) and the Netherlands’ Sven Roosen (8293), while several athletes surpassed the 8000-point mark in a high-quality international field.
