Johannes Erm missed Olympic standard

Tallinn, 30 July 2023 - Johannes Erm won Estonian Championships with 8424 points.

Erm’s results: 10,57 - 7.38 - 14.90 - 2.04 - 46,97 - 15,16 - 45.75 - 4.83 - 60.11 - 4.26,83 - as you can see the hurdles time was very modest.

"The feeling is very super, but... I missed Olympic standard (8460),"  This was Erm’s first thought to say before summing up his second day of decathlon.

"I ran the hurdles with the wrong leg. It went very well because I didn’t fall. Although I had my better back leg in very good shape, for the extreme move of the hurdles, it was worth holding myself just in case.
