Wow, what a performance by Behrenbruch so far, way ahead of his Götzis result and Kasyanov, his most serious opponent is struggling ... I can not see any other athlete on track to surpass 8250 pts. After just 4 events Behrenbruch already looks like the winner. He however has a history of faltering under pressure and the pressure this time comes early, this will be a tough night for him. Tomorrow we'll find out whether his coaches Erki Nool and Andreij Naszarov were not only able to bring him in physical shape, but to teach him how to keep a clear head? If Nool can't teach this, nobody can IP: 31.18.9... |

I just went through Behrenbruchs results since he became an 8000 athlete in 2006 and picked the 7th best result in every event. Just in case he keeps a clear head, this is what I'd expect from him: 49,32 ______ 14,24 48,06 4,70 66,50 4:39,45 = 8367 pts IP: 31.18.9... Posts from the same IP: eierluke |

At the moment (after 8 events) I would say Querin for bronze because of his strong 1500m. IP: 83.189.... Posts from the same IP: Nathali |

All Germans are happy - except two or three? Good PB - his Estonian coaches seem to have done the right things. Will Erki Nool hand over the Gold medal? Shkurenyov the third Russian at London now? IP: 84.153.... |
