Valencia, Spain. Bryan Clay (USA) snatched his first indoor title in heptathlon, recording the best points total in the world this year (6371 points).

Andrei Krauchanka (BLR) was second with new national record 6234 points and Dmitri Karpov of Kazakstan third with 6131 points.
