Bruce always was a strange person and we have to accept his choice. Fortunately there are a lot of better decathletes and they're absolutely normal.

Thanks, I see that he was good especially in running: 10.73 on 100m, 46.25 on 400m and great 4:12.2 on 1500m.

I think height in decathlon is no the limit, but only for the talented guys like Clay or Bennett.
