Norwegian men’s decathlon all-time list up to 7600 points. At the top of the Norwegian men’s decathlon all-time list stands Sander Aae Skotheim, who set the national benchmark with 8909 points at the prestigious Hypo-Meeting in Götzis in 2025.
At the 2007 World Championships in Athletics in Osaka, Roman Šebrle captured the decathlon title with 8676 points, completing his long pursuit after two World Championships silver medals with a long-awaited gold medal.
Roman Šebrle added Olympic glory to his world record status at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning gold with a new Olympic record of 8893 points.
