The Hypomeeting is over now and one day rest van Alphen impressive, another two pb on 2nd day, improved by 319 points. Still very close after 8 events, expected Sintnicolaas to win then Something new in the hurdles ("special false start") Chinin's accident in PV was looking fatally (I stood only meters away), but what we've heared we was lucky (elbow injury, no problem with his cervical spine. Schrader unfortunately still with problems, so he could not jump in PV. Cubans probably affected by jet lag, they arrvied only on thursday. I think they will be better at the OG, but not as good as the have been. J hope all of you managed to watch the live stream. IP: 84.153.1... |

All athletc.com by the way has the winner Hans van Alphen with a javelin pb of: Speerwurf 67.59 Kessel-Lo (BEL) 19.05.2012. (better than with what he is listed here and from iaaf). Since he so far hasn't a profile aside the pdf, I choose this place to post it. Wow that must have been interesting there in Götzis! I'm considering to visit Ratingen (or Marburg) this summer, haven't seen decathlon live action for some years and am getting courious... IP: 31.18.9... |
