David Klech (USA) achieved a 7.533 at Mount SAC relays last week. His throws are the worst marks ever made during a >6.800 points in history : 10.78 - 29.35 - 34.45 = 1347 points (and 6.186 in the no-throwing events). For example, Sebrle made a 6.497 points (no throwing events) during his world record, just 311 points over Klech's marks

Kip Janvrin (born july 8th 1965, 44yo) performed a 6657 points at the San Angelo (TX) spring break decathlon last week end : 11.76 6.19 13.43 1.74 51.80 15.85 36.06 4.26 52.16 4.47.63 Is somebody knows a decathlete at 44 with a >6600 points ? Perhaps Willim Motti with 8550 points (31/05-01/06 1990 Emmitsburg-USA). It was an exhibition, but not sure he was alone for all events.

Hi Christoph. Finally, only 3 german are starting the meet (Hartmann is not there). After 3, Hock (2557 and 1 PB) leads the meet, and Mayer (2482 and 2 PB) is second. I suspect Mayer to be in the way of a hudge total, perhaps over 8.000 points.

Very impressive results after 7 events : probably 6 over 8000 points, and Feimuth (3 PB) near 8.300 points, and Bouraada can broke the AfrRecord.

van der Plaetsen wins the meet with 5 points on Mikhan : something like 0.80 on 1500 m after 10 events Congratulations to the winner, and also to his second Mikhan (8.157 PB and 8.152 PB) and also to Knobel who was, probably, the best man on the field............without the 110H.

Knobel is still competing (49.09 DT). Helcelet, after a 14.30 110H PB, has some 'medium' PB for the last 4 events : 39.99 DT - 470 PV - 59.36 JT - 4.39.75 1500M. With this marks, he could made 8.050 points.... but Mikhan seems to have better PB (45.04 - 465 - 54.40 - 4.23.77).

For example Mikhan LJ PB 7.61i (not 7.54) - SP PB 14.41i (not 13.98) Leliévre SP PB 14.77i not 14.33 Knobel SP PB 15.70i not 15.43 and so on... I don't know if EAA stat considers the indoor marks as PB, or only the marks made during outdoors meetings.

In Bressanone, a very good fight beetween Daniel Awde GBR (6646) and Simon Walter SWI (6608) after 8. Awde made some high level performances : 10.67/100 46.70/400 510/PV !!

Well, now 460 (PV) and 6760 points for Raja after 8. He has a good JT (PB 67,16 and 58,00 average since 2010) and 4.37.13 on 1500 (2010 PB). With 58.00 and 4.40.0 = 8.150 !!

He is young (22 in october) and some large margin of progression in SP, PV, JT and 1500.

Nadir El Fassi has contracted a measles virus at the end of march (thanks to his baby son), then an adductor injury and now an inflamation of a tendon. He hopes to open his season this week end at Issoudun (French National championships second division), and, at worst, at the french NC held at Albi July 30th.
