Oregon’s Peyton Bair, the defending NCAA Indoor heptathlon champion, set a world-leading score of 6371 points to break the meet record of 6272 set by Razorback Ayden Owens in 2022.

Peyton Bair - 6371 points!

Peyton Bair registered lifetime bests in six of seven events on his way to scoring 6371 points at the Razorback Invitational. Along with the meet victory and record, Bair now ranks as the fourth-best performer in NCAA history.

NCAA Men’s Indoor Heptathlon -  All‑Time Top 3 (Collegiate)

1. Kyle Garland (Georgia) — 6639 points (Collegiate record, NCAA Indoor Championships)

2. Ayden Owens (Arkansas) — 6518 points (also from NCAA competition)
