Hubert Trościanka set a new U20 Decathlon World Record (0)

Trościanka's performance included a world U20 decathlon best of 46,21 seconds in the 400 meters and a championship best of 68.87 meters in the javelin throw.

Poland’s Hubert Trościanka made history at the European U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland, becoming the first athlete ever to surpass 8500 points in the U20 decathlon. His remarkable score of 8514 set a new world U20 record.

He smashed the world U20 400m best with 46,21 and also set a championship best of 68.87m in the javelin.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Trościanka's career, following his silver medal at the  World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima 2024, Peru, where he scored 8230 points,
