Desenzano del Garda, Italy - Karel Tilga gave a very good performance over a couple of years, earning a solid first place with 8482 points in Decathlon. He beat the standard for this year's WC and next year's OG by 22 points! He also breaks Andrei Krauchanka’s Meeting record of 8390 points.

Tilga moves up to second in the World Decathlon rankings.
