That trio - Eaton, Taiwo, and Ziemek—confirmed Team USA’s decathlon lineup for Rio 2016

Eugene, Oregon. Reigning Olympic champion Ashton Eaton breezed to another U.S. title, managed a world-leading 8750 points.

Jeremy Taiwo (8425) and Zach Ziemek (8413) finished second and third. Both will represent the United States, along with Eaton, in Rio.

2012 Olympic silver medalist Trey Hardee didn't finish after suffering a left hamstring injury on the 1st day.
