Canada’s Damian Warner has joined an elite group of men with 9000+ points in the decathlon. His mark of 9018 points becomes an Olympic record.

Zach Ziemek reached amazing new world best for total points of jumping events

Jente Hauttekeete won the men’s decathlon at the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn with 8150 points, ahead of Sander Aae Skotheim (8012) and Teo Bastien (7722).

The 2021 U20 World Championships in Nairobi saw František Doubek of the Czech Republic win the men’s decathlon with 8169 points, ahead of Belgium’s Jente Hauttekeete and Spain’s José San Pastor.
