I dont expect you to make them Rafal otherwise you won't have to sleep this winter! Nevertheless I explain the 1013 combinations. (Maybe you know the formula but I explain for the fan). Like the 9,8,7,6... (to get the 45) there is a mathematical logic. From 1 event you can make 1 list. From 2 events you can make 3 lists or for example 1 from 100m and 1 from LJ plus 1 combined. From 3 events we have 3 events (apart), 3 combinations of 2 and 1combination of the 3 events.
(Ex. 100m; LJ; SP; 100/LJ;100/SP; LJ;SP; 100/LJ/SP) . That makes 7.
Or
2 = (2x2)-1 = 3
3 = (2x2x2) -1 = 7
4 = (2x2x2x2) - 1 = 15
...
10 = (2 to the tenth) - 1 = 1023!
Because this includes 10 lists of 1 event who are not "combinations " we do 1023 - 10 = 1013 possible "combinations" for the decathlon! Some are known on decathlon2000, like Running, Jumping and Throwing. (To me the combination SP - 1500 is as important as those three.) And now I'm very pleased with the combinations of two
Let's keep up the good work and thanks!
Chris

With ten digits there is a possibility of 1013 combinations plus 10 lists of 1 event. I like your lists very much. Maybe you should send it to Janek. Put your name under it (you deserve the credit) and let him present it as a "weekly list" or "weekly lists". Its an idea I was thinking about before I saw your beautiful work. Daniel is there for the minor flaws.(Good work to.)
Love it.

Kevin is on his way to breack the European record from Roman Sebrle. If he's breaking his second day record (like he broke yesterday he's first day rec), jumping 5.30 or more, the record is allmost certain in his pocket. Doing 6477 or more he become's the second heptathlete all time, but then he will have to run for it in the 1000m. I'll cross my fingers for you Kevin.
