WORLD DECA RECORDS BY WEIGHT CLASS

Here's an idea that I think I got from the late great Alphonse Juilland. (Note Dale Harder has done a lot of breakdowns by weight in his books, also). Breaking down athletes by weight class. I decided to use the US Powerlifting Federation's weight classes of 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 275, 308 and superheavyweight. I think they do the best job of sorting them by fair amounts and not having too many. Boxing has way too many and wrestling and UFC both have these huge weight gaps for heavyweight (UFC is 206 to 265 for example). I thought this would be fun to list. I've been doing a lot of decathlon research lately so I will post what I found on decathletes. You are welcome to make/add any corrections.


Obviously, some events won't be represented in some of the smaller (or, perhaps, larger classes) depending on the event.
