Janek Õiglane has won bronze medals at the European Championships in München 2022 and at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn 2015. The Estonian Athlete of the Year 2022. At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Õiglane set a new Estonian second-day decathlon score record - scoring 4347 points in just the final five events - a record previously held by Estonian decathlon legend Erki Nool.
