West German Championships Ahlen 1984 (0)

Oct 20, 2026
The West German decathlon championships in Ahlen 1984 — no men’s or U23 titles were awarded.

The 1984 West German Combined Events Championships took place in Ahlen on 8–9 September. Heavy rain and strong winds forced the men’s and U23 decathlons to be abandoned after seven events, so no decathlon titles were awarded.

These are provisional standings from an abandoned decathlon, not final results. Only the first seven events are shown: 100 m, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400 m, 110 m hurdles and discus throw. The remaining three events were not contested.

Points show the original seven-event totals published by Track & Field News. By 1985 shows the corresponding totals recalculated using the 1985 scoring tables. The table includes the six athletes identified in that report; it is not a complete list of participants.

Igor Sobolevski and Oleksandr Apaichev competed as Soviet guest athletes and were not eligible for the West German title.
