I hope not to spark some negative or politically motivated comments about the news buzz around Bruce Jenner. However, Track Coach Brooks Johnson wrote a nice little article defending Bruce's personal life and indicating on how he went after what he needed to go after. In no way should what is going on with Bruce Jenners personal life tarnish the image of a fantastic 1976 Montreal Olympics.

Bruce always was a strange person and we have to accept his choice. Fortunately there are a lot of better decathletes and they're absolutely normal.
