Joseph Detmer demolished double decathlon world record

During the World Championships Ultra Multievents in Lynchburg (USA) Joseph Detmer has broken the world record of double decathlon.

The 27 year old set the new record with 14574 points, an improvement of 389 points over Kip Janvrin’s old world record.
